28th August.... Escley TipTop by Flydon Henri ap Pip won the broodmare class today at Monmouth show. Well done Mrs Hunter!

19th August.... News just in! Flydon Gwennol won the broodmare class at Burwarton show last week and her colt foal by Flydon Wyn was 2nd in the foal class. Well done Paul and Mandy...Photo to follow
27th July.... Flydon Llwy Arian won the barren brood mare class at Midlands Association Silver Medal Show.
22nd/23rd July.... The Royal Welsh Show. Flydon Arian Byw won the Junior broodmare class and went on to be Reserve Female Champion. A fantastic win.
Flydon Cwmwl Llwyd was 5th in the 2yr old colt class, much to the delight of his new owner! Thanks to Neil Edwards for showing him so well.

Also at the show, Flydon Eos was 7th in the Senior Mare class for her owners Brian and Jennifer of the Penech Stud. Tollgate Just Wish ( by Flydon Wyn ) was 5th in the filly foal class for her breeder Hazell Hopkinson. Well done all!
5th July.... Flydon Arian Byw was 1st in the Junior mare class at Northleach Silver Medal Show, winning the Hinton trophy. Flydon Cwmwl Llwyd was 4th in the 2 and 3 year old colt class.
1st July....News from Scotland! Cromagtir Devi, a two year old filly by Flydon Hiwmor was 2nd at the Royal Highland and Reserve Youngstock Champion at the NPS Scottish region show. Congratulations to her breeders Kevin and Lesley Moy
28th June.... News from the Hallows Stud...."Just to let you know what a fabulous day we had at NPS Area 20 Show yesterday. Dukeshill Pipsqueak (by Flydon Henri ap Pip) started proceedings by winning the Mixed M&M 4 and over and Reserve Champion. Flydon Lafant followed by winning the Sec A's 4 and over class and going on to take the reserve Welsh Championship, Pipsqueak then went and won the NPS Home Produced class and took the Championship. These results put both ponies in the overall M&M in hand supreme where Flydon Lafant was reserve Supreme Champion." Well done all! Pipsqueak pictured left, Flydon Lafant right.
21st June.... Flydon Cwmwl Llwyd was 1st in the 2/3 year old colt class at Shropshire and West Midlands Silver medal show today.

18th June.... Flydon Arian Byw was 2nd in the junior mare class at Cheshire county Show, pipped to the post by her paternal sister, Nerwyn Letitia.

Also at Cheshire, Flydon Lowri was 4th in the junior mare class, Flydon Eos was 5th in the senior mare class with her foal taking 4th prize in a very big foal class.
7th June.... Flydon Llwy Arian won the barren mare class at Severn Valley WPCS Show and went on to be champion Section A mare and Overall Champion Section A, winning the Bronze medal and qualifying for the Rhydspence in-hand Championships.
28th May.... Flydon Arian Byw was 2nd at Stafford County Show today.

27th May..... The last foal has arrived...a filly by Flydon Wyn and out of Flydon Seren Aur, Flydon Sipsi Aur (Golden Gypsy)
24th May.... West Mercia Show, our first of the season. Flydon Cwmwl Llwyd had his show ring debut and was awarded 1st prize in the two year old colt class, picture below. Flydon Llwy Arian was 3rd in the barren mare class, beaten in 2nd place by Flydon Lafant, owned by the Hallows stud. Also at the show, Algarth Sarason by Flydon Henri ap Pip was 2nd in the stallion class.
19th May.... Flydon Hapus ap Henri has gone to cover mares at the Penech Stud in Lancashire
18th May.... Glebedale Singsong by Flydon Henri ap Pip won the barren mare class at the Carmarthenshire WPCS Medal Show today.
17th May....Flydon Lavant (Springbourne Caragen x Flydon Crackling Rosie) won a strong barren mare class at SEWPCA medal show and her daughter Oldacres Lilli was 2nd in the 2 & 3 year class. Well done team "Hallows". Lavant pictured below.
Flydon Cadw Cyfrenig was 4th in the barren mare class for her owner Sarah Page.
9th May.... Flydon Seren Arian has a filly foal by Nerwyn Cadno, Flydon Arian Tlws (Beautiful Silver). Full sister to Flydon Arian Byw
8th May.... Flydon Pipsqueak has a colt foal by Flydon Wyn, Flydon Gwion.
5th May....Flydon Cadw Cyfrenig by Flydon Henri ap Pip, won the barren mare class at the Home Counties WPCA show for her owner Sarah Page of the Floreat Stud. Well done all.
Also on the 5th May....Sarum Whirlwind (by Flydon Caradog) has been at the Rosegarth Stud only 2 weeks and has already won the Overall Welsh Millcroft gelding Championship on his first outing at the North Eastern WPCA show

25th April......The first foal has arrived! Flydon Seren Efydd has a filly foal by Flydon Wyn.....Flydon Pluen Efydd (Bronze Feather)
21st April.... In the absence of pony news (we now have 5 mares with udders but not nearing foaling) I thought I would give you a link to cut priced fuel as featured in the H&H last week. Equestrian Support has struck a deal with Abbey fuels whereby we can all take advantage of cut priced fuel. The price paid is 2ppl BELOW the national Average (this week 115.1) If like us you live in an expensive area we can save 2.9ppl on our local Sainsbury's prices and 6.8ppl on our local Texaco prices! Fuel card membership costs £25 and I have calculated that we will save at least £120 in a year, however if you join up for their breakdown scheme then the fuel card membership is free!
30th March.... Dukeshil Pipsqueak, by Flydon Henri ap Pip had a good weekend at the PUK Southern Winter Championships. Results as folllows: Keston Royal Occasion Final - 1st Small Breed 4 years + and 1st Reserve Champion, Keston Confined Novice Final - 1st 4 years + and Champion, 3rd and 1st Reserve Champion in the Home Produced Keston final. Well done Terry and Andrea a great result.
24th February ....At last! Some news. Penech Ebrill , daughter of Flydon Eos was Champion Section A today at the North Western Winter Show. Well done Brian and Jennifer, she really is a lovely filly
